Crypto Research Analyst Is Being Hired by a $1.5 Trillion Investment Management Firm.

Franklin Templeton has become the latest financial firm to embark on a recruiting frenzy for cryptocurrency experts, releasing new job applications in search of crypto-savvy candidates and it is the trending Franklin Templeton plans to hire cryptocurrency trader news. 

According to job ads on LinkedIn, the American asset management is seeking for two mid-senior level specialists to head its cryptocurrency trading and research activities, which were published on September 1 and Franklin Templeton plans to hire cryptocurrency research analyst. 

The newly created crypto jobs at Franklin Templeton are aimed for experts who want to deal with the “largest, most liquid, and marketable crypto assets,” such as Bitcoin (BTC) and Ether (ETH).

This position will be responsible for developing and maintaining valuation models as well as informing portfolio managers and other senior executives on relevant business prospects, laws, and technological developments such as staking. Franklin Templeton seeks experts for Bitcoin trading and crypto research in the development and management of innovative products in the cryptocurrency sector.

Applicants for the trader job should have experience executing crypto transactions for Franklin Templeton, as well as being responsible for the timely execution of portfolio rebalancing and other supporting work procedures that include reconciliation and settlement. As stated in the job description, “the quantitative trader will also bring a process automation mentality to the table in order to create, or collaborate with developers, tools to support the platform’s development.”

Franklin Templeton is one of the world’s biggest independent asset managers, with more than $1.4 trillion in assets under administration. It offers many professionally managed mutual funds, and is one of the largest independent asset managers in the world. In recent years, the business has been putting out efforts to get more engaged in the blockchain and cryptocurrency industries.

Proof of Impact, a blockchain-based marketplace for natural and social capital, received investment from Franklin Templeton as part of a fundraising round in 2019. A prospectus for a state money market fund that would invest mostly in blockchain-based stocks was previously filed with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission by Franklin Templeton Investments.
